Gordon Ramsay converts Convicts to Chefs

Gordon Ramsay is one of the most well-known Chefs in the world due to his well-known restaurants and recipes, and his animated personality displayed on his cooking shows. During his shows, Kitchen Nightmares and Hotel Hell, Ramsay attempts to bring back businesses that are struggling by improving the food they serve as well as the presentation. On Gordon Behind Bars, instead of helping businesses recover and give them a fresh start, he shifts his help to people who are struggling. In the show Ramsay goes inside a prison and helps to change the inmates lives by teaching them to cook and helping them to earn money with the food the kitchen sells. This program also helps the inmates, when they get out of prison, to get a real job. One inmate, who was on the show, dropped out of school when he was 10 years old. He was in and out of jail many times for burglary, drug dealing, and stealing from heavy goods vehicles. He also had been using drugs himself since he was seven. However, because of Gordon Ramsay's initiative, this inmate is now free of drugs, has started working with a charity, and is also working towards becoming a lifestyle counselor. Through Ramsay's passion for food and cooking, he has been able to transform lives and make a positive impact on many people.
