Thoughts on the "Science of What Makes People Care"

    People tend to care more when they begin to emotions about something. This article lays out some reasons for why and when this happens and how to inspire people to care about an issue through feeling. The part I agree with most is the point “Create meaningful calls to action,” I think this applies not only to inspire people to care but also to motivate them to do something about it. I also think this is the most important point in the article, because it results in a change being invoked rather than just more people knowing and caring about an issue. To create change you must create emotion towards a topic.

  Gordon Ramsay is one of the most well-known Chefs in the world due to his well-known restaurants and recipes, and his animated personality displayed on his cooking shows. During his shows, Kitchen Nightmares and Hotel Hell, Ramsay attempts to bring back businesses that  are  struggling by improving the food they serve as well as the presentation. On Gordon Behind Bars ,  instead of helping businesses recover and give  them   a fresh start ,  he shifts his help to people who are struggling. In the show Ramsay goes inside a prison and helps to change the inmates ’  lives by teaching them to cook and helping them to earn money with the food the kitchen sells.
